Meet The Founder
Maria V. Hanford, FCIArb.
Before forming Hanford Law Group, Maria V. Hanford, FCIArb. founded two law firms, which included representing many different types of clients. Previously, Hanford had worked as outside counsel to nine different insurance companies.
Hanford has appeared on numerous mediations and arbitrations, handling matters in many areas, and currently utilizes her extensive ADR training—including negotiation training at Harvard Law School—along with her decades of experience, at every stage of the dispute resolution process.
Early in her career, Hanford successfully managed a complex and often high-volume caseload, which included the management of millions of dollars in bulk settlements, all while successfully overseeing the firm.
